Congratulations on becoming part of the Cardiff Junior High beginning band! We are thrilled to have you in our program!
The following instruments have been found to be of high quality in construction, finish, tone, and accuracy of tuning. Instrument cases are also of quality construction. There are reputable band instrument companies in our area that can help you with your instrument acquisition whether you buy or rent - new or used. Feel free to make your financial decisions with whom you choose. We recommend a company with their own repair department. Please consider the fact that a quality musical instrument and supplies will serve your child for many years, and careful selection now will last long into the future. Please consider the following instruments as you prepare your child for success in band.

Required Course Fee: $50 - payable in Pay N’ Go after the first day of the school year

District Issued Instruments

Oboe, Bassoon, French Horn, Euphonium and Tuba are district issued instruments. A $100 maintenance fee is required in order to sanitize and maintain these instruments. This fee can be paid online after June 1st.
